I believe in the transformative power of being truly seen and heard. In therapy, this means showing up authentically — not just exploring the difficulties we face, but also connecting with the parts of ourselves that are ready to heal and grow.

More about Nikita:

I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Johannesburg. I completed my internship at both Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital and Tara H. Moross Psychiatric Hospital, where I gained valuable experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. During this time, I worked with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, behavioural challenges, maternal mental health concerns, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and personality disorders. I went on to complete my community service year at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital, where I deepened my skills in working with children, adolescents, parents and individuals navigating maternal mental health challenges.

As a clinical psychologist, my role is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions and experiences. Therapy, to me, isn’t about offering quick fixes — it’s about creating space for self-reflection, emotional growth, and healing. I believe that when we can make sense of our emotional patterns and connect with our true selves, we empower ourselves to navigate life with greater understanding and confidence. Whether you’re looking to process past trauma, build healthier relationships, or simply understand yourself better, I’m here to walk with you on your journey toward personal growth and emotional well-being.

Its not about getting the feeling out of mind, or hiding it, but about experiencing it with acceptance.
